Katter's gay brother slams marriage ad

Bob Katter's gay half-brother Carl Katter has condemned the Federal MP for an advertising campaign attacking gay marriage.

Katter's Australian Party launched television commercials last night to put pressure on Queensland LNP leader Campbell Newman, who supports gay marriage.

Carl Katter says the ads will make voters change their view that his half-brother is just a larrikin straight-shooting MP.

"Let's be honest here, this isn't the first time Bob has done something dangerous and divisive."
