Retain our privacy, not our data

Supporters of the data retention policy argue that "those with nothing to hide have nothing to fear", but this just proves how poorly defended our privacy rights are.

This thinking also makes a number of tenuous assumptions: that you know and agree what you're doing is wrong; that you trust government agents to only target bad guys; and that only government agents are able to observe you.
