Fair Work taking HSU officials to court

Federal MP Craig Thomson has vowed to strenuously defend himself against any legal proceedings, as Fair Work Australia revealed it was launching court action over the embattled Health Services Union.

FWA said it was taking two serving and one former union official to the Federal Court over the alleged misuse of HSU funds.

Although the officials were not named, Mr Thomson released a statement maintaining his innocence and denying any wrongdoing.
