Tributes flow for couple killed in Nairobi siege

Tributes are flowing for a Tasmanian architect and his pregnant partner who were killed in the Kenyan shopping mall attack.

Ross Langdon and his Netherlands-born partner Elif Yavuz were among dozens of people killed when Al Shabaab militants stormed the Westgate mall in central Nairobi on Saturday.

Mr Langdon was born in Tasmania's rural south-east and studied architecture in Launceston for two years before moving to Sydney in 2001.

In 2008 the 33-year-old co-founded a studio in Melbourne with offices around the world. He was working on projects in Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.

The couple were expecting their first child in two weeks.
