Iran reaches deal with world powers on nuclear program

Iran has reached a deal with six world powers over its nuclear program.

The agreement, in which Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program in exchange for the easing of tough sanctions, was reached after five days of talks in Geneva.

United States president Barack Obama hailed the deal saying: "While today's announcement is just a first step, it achieves a great deal.

"For the first time in nearly a decade, we have halted the progress of the Iranian nuclear program, and key parts of the program will be rolled back."
