Williams organised hit for cop: documents

Drug boss Carl Williams allegedly told police he was approached by former drug squad detective Paul Dale to help organise a double murder in 2004, court documents have revealed.

Statements by Williams relating to a number of matters have been tendered in court during the trial of Matthew Johnson, the man accused of murdering the drug boss at Barwon Prison last year.

Williams told police he was approached by Dale to hire a hit man to kill Terence Hodson, who was about to give evidence against Dale in a criminal case. Hodson and his wife Christine were both killed at their Kew home.
