Devil's Dust: in search of asbestos worker Jeremy Tear

Thirty-four years ago I interviewed a man named Jeremy Tear when he was a university student who'd been working during his holidays at James Hardie's asbestos insulation factory.

He told me that nobody had ever mentioned a word about the dangers of asbestos to him. He worked in his shorts and a shirt, chipping the caked asbestos away from the machinery.
