  • International markets have fallen sharply overnight. US and European markets had billions wiped off and the oil price plunged to $US26.30 - a price not seen since May 2003. Indicators show it will be a rough start to local trade

  • New information out this morning has revealed 2015 was the hottest year on record. Scientists also say last year the Earth warmed by the largest recorded margin, heating up by 0.9 degrees Celsius

  • Senator Chris Black is shopping an idea around Canberra this morning. He wants uni graduates to be able to pay off HELP debts with superannuation. But our political reporter Jane Norman says Cabinet ministers have made it clear previously "they want super quarantined for retirement"
