  • The World Health Organisation is warning the Zika virus could infect between 3 and 4 million people as it transforms from a mild threat to one that is "spreading explosively"

  • The US military is working on a contingency plan for the possible collapse of Mosul dam, which is in IS controlled territory in northern Iraq. If it collapses, or is blown up, it would unleash a massive wall of water that could kill hundreds of thousands of people

  • Novak Djokovic has secured a place in the Australian Open final after defeating Roger Federer in four sets. He will face either Milos Raonic or Andy Murray, who play in the other semi-final tonight
