ABC NewsMail - Morning Edition

Good morning. Here's what's happening now:

  • There are no survivors following a Pakistan International Airlines crash, which had 48 people on board

  • US President-elect Donald Trump has been named Time magazine's Person of the Year

The Invasive Species Council chief executive says the South American insect could have a bigger impact on the environment than cane toads, feral cats and other feral animals combined

  • 7:20am AEDT: Australian cricket coach Darren Lehmann will discuss his new book 'Coach' on News Breakfast

  • 7:40am AEDT: Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop will be on Radio National

  • 8:00am AEDT: Treasurer Scott Morrison will be on ABC AM Radio
