Investigators head to ABC chopper crash site

Police say it could be days before they can formally identify the victims of a chopper crash which is believed to have claimed the lives of three of the ABC's most respected newsmen.
Journalist Paul Lockyer, pilot Gary Ticehurst, and cameraman John Bean are feared dead after their chopper apparently crashed near Lake Eyre yesterday evening.
This lunchtime South Australia Police said burned wreckage was spread over a wide area at the remote crash site 140 kilometres north of Marree.
They said three people had been on board the chopper at the time of the crash and said they did not expect to find any survivors.More »
