For as long as I can remember Jobs was there, peddling his wares in the front pages of BYTE magazine - de rigeur reading for the early geek set. His resignation from the day-to-day running of Apple should be an opportunity for a victory lap, a time when Jobs can enjoy all of the great things he's created.
