Here's what happens next: Tony Abbott will resign as prime minister sometime early this morning. Mr Turnbull will then be sworn in at Government House and will meet with the Cabinet later in the morning. The precise timings of all this are still unclear - our live blog will have the latest as it happens. At 2pm AEST, Mr Turnbull faces his first Question Time as prime minister.
