  • The Essendon supplements saga isn't going away. One of the club's former rookies was injected as part of the program and now he's speaking out about his battle to find out exactly what substances he was given. He says, so far, the club hasn't answered his questions

  • Some public servants are on strike today. The ABC's Rachel Pupazzoni says people wanting to use Centrelink and Medicare services "are advised, if it's not urgent, don't do it today". If you're preparing to head away for Easter this weekend, check what's happening at the airport because more industrial action is expected

  • Barack Obama will meet with Raul Castro after Air Force One touched down in Cuba moments ago. It's the first visit to Cuba by a current US president in 88 years

  • 10:00am AEDT: The inquest into the Sydney siege resumes. This is the final section of hearings and will focus on the police response

  • 1:30pm AEDT: Defence Minister Marise Payne is in Indonesia for a bilateral meeting. We are expecting to hear from her before she heads to Kuala Lumpur later today

  • 2:15pm AEDT: Julie Bishop is also in Indonesia. She's there to open new embassy buildings and will hold a press conference with her counterpart Retno Marsudi this afternoon
