The ABC has been told the judge does not view the recovery as a kidnapping but rather as a mother trying to reunite with her children Tennis star Maria Sharapova could have her doping suspension overturned after the World Anti-Doping Agency said it could not tell how long the banned substance meldonium stays in the body. The drug was only outlawed on January 1 this year so the admission could make it hard to prove an athlete took the drug after that time Syrians have voted in parliamentary elections in Government-held areas as war continues to rage across the country. Bashar al-Assad's Government said the election was held in line with the constitution but the opposition described it as illegitimate.
