SA police probe deaths during home births

Police have launched criminal investigations into the deaths of two babies in home birth deliveries.

South Australian police released a statement on Sunday evening saying the death of Tully Kavanagh in October 2011 and another baby in December 2012 would be investigated as major crimes.

The deaths of three other babies in home births also are being examined.
