The attack on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 has claimed the lives of 28 Australians and eight permanent Australian residents, who were among the 298 passengers and crew on board. A Catholic nun, an estate agent, a teacher, a husband-and-wife pair of doctors, a businessman and his three grandchildren are just some of those Australian lives lost.
