Good morning. Here's what's happening now: Former treasurer Joe Hockey is preparing to give his final speech in Parliament, expected sometime this morning. ABC political reporter James Glenday says Mr Hockey was once seen as a future leader, but could not overcome the reception to the 2014 budget. There'll be a by-election in his seat. Ahmed Mohamed, the boy arrested in Texas for taking a clock to school, met Barack Obama at the White House. Mr Obama said curiosity needed to be encouraged, not suppressed. Ahmed said people should be judged "by their heart, not what they look like". Shortly before that, Ahmed told the ABC all the attention was "fun" but the incident still made him uncomfortable. Ahmed might be too young to fully appreciate it, but everyone else should know it's Back to the Future day!
