Jazmin-Jean's killer gets 32 years for fatal bashing

A man who bashed his girlfriend to death while under the influence of the drug ice has been sentenced to more than 33 years in jail.

Sean Lee King, 27, will spend at least 25 years in jail for offences including murdering Jazmin-Jean Ajbschitz at her mother's inner Sydney apartment in 2011.

Ms Ajbschitz's body was found by her brother three days after the attack and an autopsy subsequently found her death was caused by blunt-force injuries to her heart and liver.

In sentencing, Justice Bellow said King had killed his girlfriend in an "extensive and sustained attack", during which Ms Ajbschitz would have experienced "unbelievable terror".
