Search continues for survivors of capsized asylum seeker boat

Authorities are continuing to search for survivors after the sinking of a suspected asylum seeker boat near Christmas Island.

The bodies of nine people were pulled from the water yesterday.

It is understood that as many as 60 people could have been on board the vessel when it capsized in waters off WA's north coast.
