At least 60 killed in Egypt as protests turn violent

At least 60 people have been killed across Egypt in clashes between security forces and supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi.

Thousands of Islamists marched in several cities around Egypt in what they dubbed a "Friday of anger" to protest the killing of hundreds of Morsi loyalists in Wednesday's crackdown.

Violence erupted almost immediately, with gunshots ringing out in Cairo and security forces firing tear gas.
