'Callous' teens charged with baseballer's murder

Three teenagers have been charged with the shooting death of Australian baseballer Christopher Lane in Oklahoma.

James Francis Edwards, 15 and 16-year-old Chancey Allen Luna have been charged with first-degree murder and remanded in custody.

Michael Dewayne Jones, 17, was charged with use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory to murder after the fact.

Police say the vehicle's boot contained a shotgun with the serial numbers sanded off, but the actual weapon used in the shooting has not been found.

Lane, studying in the US on a baseball scholarship, was out jogging in the town of Duncan on Friday when he was shot in the back.

Why is Labor still talking direction after six years?

The program also obtained emails in which a former sponsor claims cash payments were made to captain Paul Gallen outside the salary cap.
