| By South-East Asia correspondent Samantha Hawley, wires Possible debris from a missing Malaysia Airlines flight has been found in the sea off Vietnam, officials say. Six Australian passengers were among 239 people on board Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which disappeared en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysia Airlines plane last had contact with air traffic controllers 120 nautical miles off the east coast of the Malaysian town of Kota Bharu. Vietnamese authorities say more aircrafts will be dispatched at first light to investigate objects found in the water about 80 kilometres to the south-west of Tho Chu Island. Royal Malaysian Air Force chief Rodzali Daud says radar data shows that the aircraft may have turned back from its scheduled route to Beijing. More » |
