  • In breaking news, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton has confirmed that asylum seeker baby Asha has been transferred to community detention. Doctors at Brisbane's Lady Cilento hospital had refused to discharge the baby back to Nauru because it was not considered a safe home

  • The death toll in Fiji has risen to six after Tropical Cyclone Winston smashed the country at the weekend. Residents are now beginning the massive clean-up effort, with 150 homes destroyed and 60 damaged in just one of the country's four divisions

  • Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a string of deadly bomb blasts that killed at least 119 people in Syria. One of the attacks, a twin car bomb in Homs, was the most deadly in the violence-ravaged country for more than a year

Nick Kyrgios has won his first ATP World Tour title after beating Croatian Marin Cilic at the Marseille Open. Kyrgios did not lose a set all week and did not drop serve in any of his matches
