Good morning. Here's what's happening now:

A trio of European scientists has won the 2016 Nobel Prize for Chemistry for developing molecular machines that could one day be injected to fight cancer. Dr Bernard Feringa said there were "endless opportunities" for what their work could be used on in the future.

  • 5:30pm AEDT: The Head of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet Martin Parkinson will address a Lowy Institute gathering about the Government's work to strengthen the effectiveness of the G20
