  • The Federal Government could save about $1 billion a year by winding back three tax breaks for older Australians according to a new Grattan Institute report

  • Concern is growing that future Australian elections could be influenced by the rise of fake news on social media following an influx of bogus news stories during the US presidential election

A highly-elusive sea slug that has not been seen around Sydney Harbour for years, has been found during the city's second annual sea slug census. The Macleay's spurilla, which has a vivid orange patch over its heart and tiny finger-like branches, was found among 52 other sea slugs at the weekend event.
