The combination of promised low-rate stability in the US and growth promoting measures from Chinese authorities has seen Australia's share market jump, led by the mining sector. The benchmark ASX 200 is on track for its biggest one-day gain in six months, with its 1.5 per cent rise to 5,461 by 2:29pm (AEST) on track to be the best performance since a 2.1 per cent rise on December 19 last year.
