Allison Baden-Clay's journal reveals affair questions

The jury in Gerard Baden-Clay's murder trial has been shown excerpts from his wife Allison's journal, including an entry reading: "Do you regret the whole thing or just being caught?"

Baden-Clay, a 43-year-old former real estate agent, has pleaded not guilty to the 2012 murder of his wife, whose body was found on a Brisbane creek bank 10 days after she was reported missing.

The journal, found during a search of the couple's bedroom, includes an entry dated April 18, 2012, with a list of notes including: "Were you prepared to live with the guilt if I hadn't found out."
