Good morning. Here's what's happening now:

  • The World Anti-Doping Agency wants Russia suspended from international athletics. It could mean Russian track and field athletes are banned from the Rio Olympics.

  • The Immigration department says the Christmas Island detention centre is "calm" after yesterday's reports of rioting. The ABC's Jade MacMillan is on the island and says staff are still negotiating with protesters to supply medicines to detainees.

  • Aung San Suu Kyi is urging her supporters to be humble in what appears to be a landslide win in Myanmar's election. "I want to request that you don't celebrate or speak in a way that will make the other side feel bad," she's said.
