Good morning. Here's what's happening now:

  • Victoria and Tasmania are bracing for a pummelling as extreme weather moves south today. The east coast low pressure system lashed Queensland and New South Wales at the weekend, where authorities are continuing to mop up the damage

  • Four Corners has revealed allegations of fraud, shocking waste and corruption in Indigenous-run organisations around the country. The 44 organisations currently under investigation receive hundreds of millions of dollars in grants from the federal and state governments

  • Novak Djokovic has defeated Andy Murray 3-6, 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 to win the French Open. It's the first time Djokovic has claimed the title, and makes him only the third man to hold all four major titles at the same time

A drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease has been linked to at least seven deaths in Australia since 2000. New research published in the Medical Journal of Australia today found an increasing number of Australians were accidentally overdosing on the drug Methotrexate.
