Navy divers unable to get into South Korean ferry

Search and rescue teams battling strong currents and poor visibility have been unable to gain access to a ferry sunk off South Korea's coast.

Hundreds of passengers - mostly students and teachers from a South Korean school - remain missing and at least 25 people have been confirmed dead.

Relatives mourning the loss of loved ones have lashed out at the captain, as tensions rise over the way authorities have dealt with the situation.

The ship's captain has apologised for the loss of life, but prosecutors have revealed the third officer was in charge of the bridge when the ferry began to list.

Padbury further delays revealing Oakajee backers

Padbury Mining has again delayed telling the stock exchange who will fund its plans to restart the stalled Oakajee port and rail project.

Padbury last week said it had secured $6.5 billion to build the iron ore export project in WA's Mid West, but it refused to name the investors.

It was placed into a trading halt because it would not name private equity investors it said would fund the deal.
