Northern Territory police have shot and killed two crocodiles, one of which they believe contains the remains of a man taken from his boat yesterday afternoon.

The 62-year-old man was attacked while on a billabong near a popular tourist spot in Kakadu National Park., south-east of Darwin.

Obama's rhetoric follows leaders to Normandy

Councils to keep GFC compensation after Federal Court ruling

The ruling comes after ABN Amro Bank, Standard & Poors' and Local Government Financial Services (LGFS) appealed a judgment by a single judge of the Federal Court which awarded 13 New South Wales councils around $30 million in compensation for their financial losses.
