Low-income families to bear brunt of budget cuts, modelling suggests

Low-income families in Western Sydney and Melbourne's northern suburbs will suffer the most under new Federal Government budget measures, a study has found.

Local stocks have now fallen nearly 7 per cent in the past month alone, and analysts said the market was overdue for a correction, with concerns about the global outlook adding to the pressure.
