Security forces are on alert across Canada after a gunman attacked the nation's parliament, shooting a soldier dead before himself being killed by a parliamentary official. He was shot dead by the parliament's sergeant-at-arms, who has been hailed a hero by MPs who barricaded themselves inside a room as security guards traded fire with the gunman. More » |
