A heavily redacted version of the incident was included in the recently released annual report of the Inspector General of Intelligence and Security, Dr Vivienne Thom. It involved "an allegedly inappropriate action by an officer of another Australian Government agency towards an [Australian Secret Intelligence Service] officer," the report said. It is not known if the incident was a prank, or intended as a threat, but it appears the pair had been drinking together.
