ABC NewsMail - Morning Edition

Good morning. Here's what's happening now:

Veda has also been accused of providing incorrect information and refusing to fix errors on consumers' permanent financial records

  • A Swedish lower court has upheld the arrest warrant for Julian Assange, finding his stay at Ecuador's London embassy did not equal detention. The Australian WikiLeaks founder is wanted by Swedish authorities for questioning over rape allegations, which he denies

  • The US State Department has found Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state broke government rules and was not approved by State Department officials. Mrs Clinton's use of the private email server has been the subject of several investigations, including an ongoing probe by the FBI, and has hung over her presidential campaign for months

Campers in Botswana woke to a shock when they discovered lions outside their tent. The three lionesses weren't after dinner, but were captured on video licking rainwater from the outside of the tent. The campers, Francie Lubbe and her husband, described the experience as "special".

  • 11:45am AEST Western Australia will host the biggest National Sorry Day event in the country. Other events will be held around Australia.
