  • 9:00am AEST: The official secretary to the Governor-General will read the proclamation, dissolving the Senate and the House of Representatives

  • 10:00am AEST: A Supreme Court trial is due to begin for shopkeeper Adeel Khan, charged with three counts of murder resulting from an explosion at his Rozelle convenience store in Sydney. Bianka O'Brien, her 11-month-old son Jude and Chris Noble died in the 2014 fire
