Since 1975, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has surveyed employees about their salaries, allowing us to track wages at the top and bottom.

For someone in the ninetieth percentile, wages have risen by 59 per cent. For a worker in the tenth percentile, wages have risen by only 15 per cent.
