Rio 2016: Day 13 will see Aussies go for gold in the kayaking and sailing | Yes, some golden hopes are still alive. Day 13 in Rio will see Australians compete with good chances of bringing home the hardware.
Take a look at what is coming up on day 13 in Rio.
Kayaking
Australians Ken Wallace and Lachlan Tame took out the silver in the men's K2 1,000m at the world championships last year, but have gold well and truly in their sights in Rio.
They will be on the water from 10:00pm AEST.
Sailing
Tom Burton got Australia's sailing contingent off the mark with his gold in the men's laser class, but Iain Jensen and Nathan Outteridge are hoping to back that up in the men's 49er medal race.
The weather has already seen the start time pushed back a touch, but with some luck and good conditions, that race will begin at around 3:35am AEST.
High jump
Eleanor Patterson is real medal hope for Australia in the women's high jump after finishing in the top eight at the 2015 world championships.
She will begin her first qualification round at 11:00pm AEST.
Javelin
There was heartbreak when Kim Mickle was forced out of javelin competition with a dislocated shoulder, but Australian hopes live on through Kathryn Mitchell.
That final begins at 10:10am AEST, with Mitchell to throw fourth.
Other highlights: - Shot put: Damien Birkinhead begins his qualifying round at 10:55pm AEST, and should he make it, would compete in the final at 9:30am AEST
- Golf: The women's competition continues into its second round. Minjee Lee is in a tie for 11th at -2, while Su Oh is tied for 26th at even par.
